Wise Words Of Wisdom

Was watching Ewan Almighty on the weekend.

Came across some words of Wisdom in the show that i feel most people should know..

When you pray for Happiness, does God give you happiness or the opportunity to be happy
When you pray for money, does God give you money or the opportunity to be make money

These words seems not to mean anything but when you really think about it, its always the opportunities that we were given and most people does not take advantage of these opportunities

Bangkok Trip

I guess this is the worst bangkok trip that i had - or rather worst experience ....
Everything on the first day was a disaster...
Disaster 1
I went over to Singapore at 9.00 am thinking that i will catch my 12.20pm flight. So I started in Jb and had it all planned out...I was thinking by going at this time..i will just basically go to the airport once i reach singapore and then head over to the Budget terminal at 11.30pm. So basically, that day, i reach the airport at 10.30am and headed to Burger King as i am quite famished ..i stayed at the fast food chain till 11.20 and went down to the basement to catch the bus to the Budget Terminal...
Just as i was about to exit the terminal, i had a check on my flight,....and its written 12.10pm...20 min earlier than my timing...i started to panic and look at my boarding pass and i notice that DAMN....i saw wrongly....damn....i tried to calm myself down and i was waiting in the bus and looking at the terms and conditions of the ticket. I notice that there is a clause in the terms and conditions of the flight that i need to be the gates will be closed 45 min before the flight...PANICCCC.......arghhhhhh.....what should i do? what should i do???? No choice lo....have to face the music....and go to the terminal and grovel.....kekekekeke.....
When i got there, the counter was actually closed and i went to another counter and ask for a check in. Luckily the lady in the counter just checked me in without my hassle....and boy, i was actually rushing through the customs to get to my flight....and yes, i managed to board the plane....last one to enter actually.... After months of preparation and event planning, the final day have finally arrive...and boy am i gladd its near to the end already....

We basically have to have to build a photo booth for the dinner so that people are able to take photos

I think we were charging people for RM3.00 for a photo. This photo also will include two person in masquerade....

We also have a variety of games throughout the night to entertain the staff.

Mask Competition

The basic idea of this competiton is to attract the staff to use thier innovation to create odd looking mask...the mask that was given to the company staff id like the one shown below:

I guess you will be wondering which one is mine....hahahha...its not the pics above...

Actually a lot of people mentioned that my mask is a little too drama....do you agree?????....hahahahaha.. The winner of this mask competition was by voting. Therefore, the person with the most votes...WINS....and the WINNER is

Mask For Sale

The first thing that i need to look for was Mask...went all over the places in JB but didn't really find anything that is suitable...all that i found in JB was ....those PVC scary mask that you can find...the ones that covered your whole head....didn't really like that cos it didnt really match the surrounding that we were in.....

So i went over to Singapore to look for the mask that i want...and i found these......

I know i know...you must be thinking...WOW...I found so many???? Yes...I did but not all was from Singapore. There were also some accidental find that i made during some of trips to KL and could you believe that it was cheaper than in Singapore. I basically sold these from RM4 to RM20..

Can you spot the WHITE dragon looking one ( was also selling that for RM13 ) - I made it. I was made it from the normal plain looking ones in the first picture...The following is one of the very creative one I also made....

I made this one as a sample for all the others to see what our mind can make us to do....for the MASK COMPETITION that we will be having..

Annual Dinner 2007

I am the annual dinner committee chairman by default this year. Originally was the deputy but after the chairperson resign, I guess I have to take over....

First duty that come into place was to decide the theme for this year's annual dinner. We had thought that we will finalize at Wild Wild West but after looking at the location...we decide otherwise..

Don't you agree, the place looks too grand for wild wild west and i told my committee that we should set it Masquerade Ball 2007.......

The last blog was written in Feb and today its already near to the end of August. I have really been slacking to write all that have been happening in my life...or rather part of it...


let me see...what have been happening in the past few months....


Went to Bangkok - organised a Annual Dinner Event ( who i was the chairperson ), my fourth anni with by baby....and others....

Well, just hope that I will not be lazy again and complete the above mentioned.....

Time passes really fast...another year have gone and its Lunar New Year again...

The first is the pussy willow and there are actually three bunches there....I bought one while my mom's friend gave her another two.....

The second is a photo of a plant that we planted at home... not sure what is the english name...chinese " wu tai thong thang ". Sort of symbolize five generation together...i guess that is what everyone wish for. This is call that because of the five pointed ends at the bottom of the fruit symbolizing five generations....

Christmas In December

Its been a while since i log in. The main reason was due to the line connection that affected all of us after christmas. Guess the line is only ok recently since able to start blog again....

Started out with putting some simple decorations that i bought on discounts either from Watsons ( JB -having sale during near to Christmas ) or Daiso ( Singapore - SGD2 shop ).

Also bought a lot of gifts for friends as this will a busy weekend. The Santa at the side also bought at discount and can contain food item inside. Gave one to the couple next door...and guess what...they copy cat us too...... hahahahahah



Dinner - we actually ate in the room.....looks classy doesn't it....set the mood of the dinner...there was also a lot of drama that went to prepare this dinner. We literally made ourselves busy for the whole day....( just some lightings and organza fabric transform the table )
